Feature Suggestions

Nearly all of our interactions with our clients are via WhatsApp. In order to keep track of communications (like emails) it would be HUGE for us to be able to WhatsApp directly from ArtCloud. Send not just information about pieces, but also invoices, updates, etc. So far we have all of our clients WhatsApp information entered into the social space in their contacts, but have no way of using it through ArtCloud.

I think it would be helpful to have the ability to send invoice reminders to clients, similar to the functionality offered in QuickBooks. Having customizable reminder options, either scheduled or triggered manually, would streamline follow-ups and make managing outstanding payments more efficient within ArtCloud. It could also be a feature you can turn off so not every client is getting follow-ups.

Stripe isn’t available in my country (and will never be), so I’d really appreciate having PayPal integration. That way, I could take full advantage of the payments feature on ArtCloud.

When a client directly purchases a piece from the website and they are out of state, having the Instant Checkout calculate the correct sales tax (like Shopify does), instead of manually having to do it and this way the customer knows exactly what they are being charged.

Artists are experiencing confusion because while the default currency is dollars, consigning works to the gallery automatically changes the currency to the gallery's local setup. Artists should also have the ability to change their default currency.

Square Terminal Integrations

Xero is the leading small business accounting system across many countries. Connecting Xero to artcloud and automating many of our accounting actions would save a lot of administration work. There may even be an existing API.

Would be great to be able to directly update the prices on a list without opening each inventory card. So when you have the list and the works itemized on the screen, it would make things easier to change all the prices on that format as well, instead of clicking each card, then up date, then go back. The scroll option to go from one inventory card and another is another help...again I emphasize the scroll feature across the board.

Just wanted to bring something to your attention you may not be aware regarding Quickbooks Online integration: NOTE: This is not an issue on the Artcloud side of integration. It's a QBO issue. I tried to do a test integration with a couple of our existing AC invoices into QBO. I received the attached error message and could not proceed into importing my CSV. I got on with support and it turns out that the smaller QBO account types will not allow importing if sales tax is set up in QBO. Additionally, in QBO, there’s no easy way to simply turn off sales tax if it was already set up and other invoices were issued. The QBO upper tier accounts allow it, so the programming exists within their system. I’ve sent a feedback request for them to set it up for the lower tiers. Not sure if you have any push you can give, but it certainly would be helpful for your voice to also be heard since your company is working with numerous other businesses that use QBO and probably are in the same boat as us.

A Chrome extension for Gmail that allows you to create contacts, and other CRM records directly from your email- great for contacts that email the gallery directly etc. This also enables you to log/track your emails into Art Cloud directly from gmail as a better means of tracking.
