I'd like to request improvements to ArtCloud's website templates and technical SEO functionality. While reviewing dk Gallery's website (dkgallery.us) in Google Search Console and Google's Rich Results Test, I identified several issues that cannot currently be corrected through the Website Builder.
  1. Internal Search Page Indexing (High Priority)
Our /search page is indexed by Google and received 1,390 impressions but only 4 clicks over a two-week period. We'd like ArtCloud to automatically apply noindex to internal search results pages or provide an option to control indexing on individual pages.
  1. Incorrect ArtGallery Structured Data (High Priority)
The ArtGallery schema currently pulls its description from each page's meta description. This means an artwork page identifies the gallery's description as the artwork's title rather than a description of the gallery itself.
The gallery's structured data should use a consistent, configurable business description across all pages, independently of page-specific SEO metadata.
  1. Artist Page Structured Data Errors
Google's Rich Results Test reports "Multiple ListItem elements defined on page" on artist pages containing Inventory and Shows lists. We'd like the generated structured data reviewed and corrected to comply with Google's supported formats.
  1. Opening Hours Schema Formatting
Opening hours are currently output in a human-readable format rather than standardized Schema.org formatting. We'd like ArtCloud to implement OpeningHoursSpecification or another valid machine-readable format.
  1. URL Redirect Management
Our Search Console currently reports 954 URLs returning 404 errors, including previously published artwork and content pages. We'd like the ability to configure 301 redirects within the Website Builder, particularly for removed artwork that has a relevant replacement or corresponding artist page.
Why This Matters
These issues affect our ability to maintain accurate structured data, control which pages appear in search results, and manage the SEO health of our website.
More importantly, these limitations appear to exist at the platform level, meaning other ArtCloud customers may be experiencing the same issues without realizing it.
I understand that new functionality requires Product team approval. However, I'd appreciate consideration of the incorrect structured data and validation errors as potential template defects, since they involve existing functionality producing inaccurate or problematic markup.
I've already provided ArtCloud Support with screenshots, affected URLs, and Google testing results in our October 9–14 email correspondence.
Thank you for considering these improvements!
