After a Batch Edit, selected records remain selected. Because those checkboxes are often no longer visible after filtering or scrolling, it's easy to assume nothing is selected. The only indication is the small "(X selected)" message at the bottom of the page, which is easy to miss.
This creates a high risk of accidentally batch editing records that weren't intended.
Previously, selections were automatically cleared after a Batch Edit, so this change isn't obvious to long-time users.
Could you either:
  • Automatically clear selections after each Batch Edit, or
  • Display a prominent "X records selected" banner with a Clear Selection button at the top of the page instead of just at the bottom?
