A Chrome extension for Gmail that allows you to create contacts, and other CRM records directly from your email- great for contacts that email the gallery directly etc. This also enables you to log/track your emails into Art Cloud directly from gmail as a better means of tracking.

To log emails from Gmail into a CRM, you can use add-ins or integrations provided by the CRM itself, or by using a BCC address. Most CRM systems offer add-ins for Gmail that automatically save your sent and received emails to the CRM, keeping all communication in one place. Alternatively, you can log emails by using a CRM-specific BCC address.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Using Add-ins:
CRM-Specific Add-ins:
Many CRMs offer add-ins for Gmail that you can install from the Google Marketplace. Examples include HubSpot, Prospect CRM, Odoo, and Salesforce.
Log and Track Emails:
These add-ins often allow you to log and track emails directly from your Gmail inbox. They can automatically associate emails with contacts in the CRM and track when emails are opened or links are clicked.
Email Logging Features:
Add-ins typically allow you to configure how emails are logged, including associating them with specific records, setting logging preferences, and managing email permissions.
Using a BCC Address:
BCC Address: Some CRMs provide a specific BCC address that you can add to your emails.
Automated Logging: When you send an email using the BCC address, the CRM will automatically receive a copy of the email and log it to the relevant contact or company record.
Forwarding Emails: You can also forward emails to the BCC address to log them manually.
Steps for Logging Emails (General):
Connect Your Gmail Account: Make sure your CRM is connected to your Gmail account.
Install Add-ins (if applicable): If your CRM uses add-ins, install the relevant add-in for Gmail.
Configure Logging Settings: If using an add-in, configure how emails are logged within the CRM.
Log Outgoing and Incoming Emails: You can usually log both outgoing and incoming emails using the add-in or by using the CRM's BCC address.
View Logged Emails: You can then view the logged emails within your CRM, along with the associated contact or company record.

Email integration improvement- being able to log all emails directly through a gmail browser etc

Many CRMS are integrated with email providers and log + track all emails accordingly. It is much easier to email through gmail or other providers- ie the ability to save drafts and track all correspondence in one space- its too easy to miss emails from clients that contact a gallery directly for instance. I appreciate that an Art Cloud chrome extension / widget in the likes of Hubspot may be too complex to develop (love this system as you can make a contact directly from all new emails) but its crucial to have this functionality for work flow! Salesforce has a system of providing customised email address codes that you could add to all Bcc correspondence which would log all emails sent through a mail provider/email browser into the CRM. This would be quite easy to add- even if the contact does not exist in the system one always knew to add the contact prior to sending an email or forward the email post using the custom address which would add it to the clients activity file. This would help multiple users to also log their emails to the CRM as for instance in Salesforce you could generate each user their own email code easily. PLEASE! Please find a solution! Your in-built mail system is not extensive enough and users are on their email browsers for most correspondence unless using campaigns
